Poor health decreases one’s ability to function normally.The health and safety of the students comes first. Communication is the key element in regards to successful learning. Vision and hearing screenings are required for new entrants and grades Pre-K or K, 1, 3, 5, 7, and 11. Scoliosis screenings will be required for new entrants and girls in grades 5 and 7 and for boys in grades 9. If your son or daughter has an abnormal screening, the nurse at your school will send a referral home. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your school nurse.
