Due to forecasted extreme temperatures this coming week, VVS will adjust the end-of-year schedule to half days on Monday, June 23, and Tuesday, June 24. Faculty and staff will continue to work their regularly scheduled hours, with the flexibility to relocate to cooler areas as needed.

W.A. Wettel Elementary
- The Grades 1–5 Awards Ceremony on June 23 will be moved to 9:45 am.
- The 6th Grade Graduation on June 23 will be held as scheduled in an air-conditioned space.
J.D. George Elementary
- The 2nd Grade Author’s Tea on June 23 will be held as scheduled.
E.A. McAllister Elementary
- There are no events impacted by the schedule change.
Middle School
- The Enchanted Forest Citizenship Trip on June 23 will proceed as scheduled, with precautions in place for heat safety. The students will remain for the full day, with parent pickup at the middle school at the originally scheduled time.
- The 7th and 8th grade finals on June 24 will take place in the morning as scheduled.
High School
- All Regents Exams will take place as scheduled in air-conditioned locations. Students should report at their assigned times.
