• Hi,

I have taught for over 25 years.  My last 16 years have been at VVS High School of which I am also a graduate.  I am a two time survivor of lymphoma now and very excited about the upcoming year.

I have three daughters all of which have graduated from college.  My oldest daughter is also a teacher, she resides outside of Austin, Texas and teaches 5th Grade.  My middle daughter is living in Saquoit and will be a teacher aide this year at VVS along with working on her masters to become a teacher. My youngest daughter also lives in Austin and works in an orthodontics office.  We are also very lucky to have two grandchildren but they live in Texas.

My husband also works for VVS, he is the Career Center Coordinator at the high school and also teaches Freshman Seminar.  He is the Senior Class Advisory along with coach for Varsity Girls Tennis, Soccer, Varsity Girls Basketball and Varsity Softball.

Along with my teaching duties I am the Sheveron Yearbook Business Advisor.  I only deal with the selling of the book and the advertising.  If you have any questions regarding this please let me know. I am the Varsity Girls Golf Coach so if you have a daughter who is interested please let me know.  Its a great lifetime sport.

I like to keep parents informed about what is going on in the classroom by email and the Remind 101.  I send out group emails every couple weeks to let you about any upcoming tests, what we are working on, etc. If you would like to be a part of this group please give me your email on the Class Expectations sheet that will come home on the first day of school. I also send out Remind messages to students and parents who have signed up for this.  These are reminders of upcoming assignments or tests.

Along with being a teacher, mother, and wife, I also enjoy reading, photography, scrapbooking, the outdoors, sports (big NY Giants fan), chocolate, and ice cream.

I look forward to a great year with your student.  Please keep me informed on anything you feel I should know.

    Together We Achieve More.
