I am Monsieur Ashley. I am originally from Utica, but I now live in Liverpool. I grew up in a multilingual family, so foreign languages have always been very important to me. This is my eighth year of teaching French and my fourth year in the VVS School District. I have taught all levels of French from 1-5/college-level, and I have worked in both public and private schools. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Syracuse University in 2006 and my Master’s Degree from New York University in 2007. In addition, I have lived in various places in France and in Quebec. I am also a board member for the American Association of Teachers of French of Central New York (AATF of CNY) as their Social Media Manager and Editor-in-Chief of their quarterly newsletter. I have been a presenter for the AATF of CNY, Language Educators of Central New York (LECNY), and the New York State Association of Foreign Language Teachers (NYSAFLT). In my spare time, I like to travel, see a good movie or play, watch a hockey game, and spend time with my nephew.
