Students will be expected to complete four to five projects a marking period. I expect students to be open to trying new things and put the effort forward to be successful. Students will be graded on their effort and improvement from one project to the next. The classroom projects make up eighty percent of the students grade. A list of assignments will be provided to the students as well as being posted in the classroom.
Students will be expected to write a total of four critiques during this course. During the first critique I will model what to write in an effective critique and the students will write along with me. In subsequent critiques the students will be provided with assistance but will do the writing on their own. The critiques will make up ten percent of the students average.
