All About Mrs. CartiniI am beginning my 21st year at W.A. Wettel Elementary School. In my time at Wettel, I have taught Kindergarten, First, Second, and Sixth Grade. I love teaching at Wettel. It is like a big family here.
Before coming to Wettel, I was a substitute teacher at St. Matthews and Holy Cross in the Syracuse Area. I have a Bachelors Degree in History and Elementary Education from LeMoyne College. I was also a pitcher on the Division II Lady Dolphin Softball team. I have a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from SUNY Oswego.
My husband Christopher and I live in Whitesboro with our 16 year old son Dean, 14 year old daughter Sofi, and a crazy little Jack Russell Terrier named Kramer.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy coaching softball, reading books, listening to music, exercising, playing with my kids and my dog, watching Yankee baseball, and SU basketball. I love to watch my daughter play basketball and softball. My favorite place to go is the beach. My family and the time that we spend together means the world to me.
